10 Ndeye Group's story
This group of seven members was created in January 2021. It consists of women from the same district who share a good social bond.
Mrs. Ndèye Thiané is the group leader. In the photo, she is standing on the left, dressed in brown and yellow and raising a hand. She is 56 years old, married with six school-educated children, three girls and three boys.
Ndèye Thiané has been selling dried fish for over 10 years and has a good experience of this work. She is deeply involved in her community's development activities, and she acts as a social regulator within her group. She will use her new loan to buy basketfuls of dried fish to retail in her neighborhood.
Profits earned through her activity allow her to cover her family's expenses.
