Agnes's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase a delivery van to reach more customers who could not previously afford clean drinking water.

Agnes's story

Agnes is a self-driven and zealous business-oriented person. She has been part of the Jibu business since the start - marketing and advocating for the brand in the different forums in Rwanda. As a result, she was awarded a franchise in 2016 which has proven profitable and self-sustaining.

Due to the performance of her first franchise, in 2019 Agnes was entrusted with a second Franchise that is doing well but the demand for timely product delivery continues to be an obstacle to prompt customer service. With this loan she will be able to acquire a delivery van in order to penetrate deeper into the zone of operation in addition to real-time service, not forgetting the continued strategy to combat potential COVID-19 challenges.

Jibu is a social enterprise that is pioneering a powerful new model that capitalizes and equips entrepreneurs in emerging market communities to own businesses that ensure access to basic human necessities, with water as an anchor product. The company’s vision is to train, finance, and grow a network of invested business owners like Agnes, who will revolutionize the way critical resources are leveraged to develop essential infrastructure in emerging markets.
