Santa Ana Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy chickens and feed for them.

Santa Ana Group's story

This group is called "Santa Ana." It was formed by women who are the heads of their families and who exert themselves and fight for their loved ones so that they don't have to experience any privations. They are also in the program for the elimination of poverty.

One of the members is Maria, who sells chickens that she herself raises at her house. She mentions that her business is modest, but in spite of that, she doesn't let herself be defeated, and she seeks a way to be able to continue with her work and in this way give the best to her family. She is grateful for the opportunity that she is receiving to be able to join the group, which will be a great help to her.

Señora Maria is applying for this loan for the purchase of chickens to raise and sell, as well as feed for them.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. It wasn't possible to take a group photo in order to avoid a crowd of people because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
