Trabajando Siempre El Tope Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy soil amendments, fertilizer, insecticide, etc.

Trabajando Siempre El Tope Group's story

Norlan Ariel is a hardworking young man. He is 26 and has made a living farming coffee for the last five years. He established his crops on rented land, sometimes partially, as a day laborer. He had to pay for inputs in order to harvest his crops.

Through essentially his own hard work and his proceeds from his corn and bean harvests, he was able to purchase about 2.5 acres of coffee plants. It is for this plot of land that he is seeking a new loan from Fundenuse through Kiva in order to buy soil amendments and fertilizer to maintain the coffee crops.

With the last loan, he was able to buy the inputs he needed and produce a good harvest. His goal is to cultivate another plot of coffee plants, buy more land, and have a good, diversified farm.

He belongs to the "Trabajando siempre el tope" (Always working hard) group along with Norlan Josué and Juana, who also work in agriculture.
