Mujeres Unidas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy dyes, creams, shampoo, rinses and other products.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The group called Mujeres Unidas is in its first loan cycle of the women's committee program, where all of the members work and help each other to get ahead. This committee is formed by women who fight to be able to improve and offer a life to their own.

Among them is Juana. She earns a living working in a beauty salon. Juana mentions that her work has allowed her to help her family and give them a dignified life. She comments that despite the difficulties, specifically because she is deaf and mute, she has not let herself be defeated. Juana searches for a way to move forward. She is a single mother and fights for her children.

Juana is requesting this loan in order to buy a variety of products for her beauty salon, such as dyes, creams, shampoo, rinses and other products.

Note: In the photograph, there is only one person, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photograph in order to avoid gathering a crowd due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
