Las Crucitas 1 Group's story
Maria Agripina is 40 years old. She is married, has 4 children, and lives with her children and spouse in a village that is part of the municipality of Intibucá.
For more than 21 years, she has been cultivating high-quality potatoes on her own land. She sells her yield in the local market and earns her own income. She has requested a loan as part of a formal group with the goal of purchasing classified potato seed, fertilizers, and compost to prepare land for planting potatoes and tending the land.
Her plan is to continue increasing her production to obtain greater output and to utilize her earnings to sustain her family.
The group is called "Las Crucitas". It is comprised of 3 members who live in the same community and make a living cultivating potatoes.
The group loan is for 46,000.00 lempiras and it will be used to plan, fertilize, and increase potato crop yields.
