Angjelina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to make the ceiling, the plastering and to lay the floor on tiles for her new family shelter so her family will finally move to a safe and comfortable house.

Angjelina's story

Angjelina started to build a new shelter for her family, after the November's earthquake damaged her old house, but she could not finish it due to a lack of money. She has to make the ceiling, the plastering and to lay the floor tiles. She hopes to have Kiva lenders support to end her new family shelter so her family will finally move to a safe and comfortable house.

Angjelina is a 56-year-old villager and a married mother of two children, aged 28 and 24 who work as waiters in nearby restaurants. For years now she has been doing agricultural/livestock work. Currently she has 2 sows, 70 chickens and 1 cow; she sell piglets, eggs, hens & chickens and also raw milk. Angjelina also plants seasonal veggies, grains and crops and has grapevines.

She lives in northern Albania. Before she relocated to this new location, she and her family lived in a far northern village, almost in the Alps where the life was very difficult, since the roads were not paved and there was no electricity.
