A loan helped to buy a smartphone for her child’s educational needs.

Yani's story

Good day lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Yani. She is 38 years old and a widow with two daughters. Yani runs a business selling breakfast food. One of her children is still in school. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their family is the implementation of school from home that uses an online system. This has made it difficult for their child to access the course materials, and to send assignments to the teacher.

Yani has applied for a loan of 2,700,000 Indonesian rupiahs (IDR) from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her child’s educational needs. Her income is not sufficient to buy the smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her business.

Yani is a very hardworking mother who always strives for the best for her children, and tries to improve their living conditions and create a happy life. She is very grateful for this opportunity and wants to thank all lenders.

Note: The girl in the photo is Yani’s daughter who is still in school.
