Mayra Alejandra's story
Mayra Alejandra and her family live in Portoviejo, a city affected by the earthquake on April 16, 2016 and now by the covid-19 pandemic. The city is rich in the production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruits for internal consumption. Mayra Alejandra sells various products from clothing catalogs of various brands, Belcorp (lbel, cyzone, esika), beauty products, cosmetics, perfumes, and accessories for women. She works three days a week, two to three hours a day. She sells her products on credit and collects every eight days. During the pandemic, her family fell ill with covid-19 but they have already recovered. This loan is to buy perfumes, creams, clothes, makeup, shampoo, etc. She dreams of her having her own shop to continue making her sales and that her family is very healthy.
