Letila's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase roofing iron, louvre blades, nails and other building materials and also a new stove, a pressure cooker, cooking equipment and floor linoleum.

Letila's story

Letila, 60, refuses to stay at home and be idle. Upon retirement, she decided to start her own business and she did successfully with the help of previous lenders allowing her to make jams, condiments and and food packs for which she takes orders from offices in the nearest town. The destructive rain and winds brought by Tropical Cyclone Yasa in December damaged the roof and windows of Letila's home and also damaged her electrical appliances, home ware and so many other home items that she depended on for her food productions like her stove, electrical pressure cooker and most of her cooking equipment as they were mostly damaged in the floods. She understands that her children already have so many things to worry about so she does not want to worry them with extra expenses. Letila humbly requests your help in the form of a financial loan so that she may repair the partially damaged roof of her home, her windows and purchase household items that she desperately needs for the continuation of her business. She is ready to work hard to ensure that all her loans are paid back and in due time.
