Sante Yallah Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy charcoal and vegetables to sell.

Sante Yallah Group's story

Madame Bintou is a dynamic and educated woman with good business sense. She is the president of the Sante Yallah group (the group's name, in Wolof, means "Give grace to God"). Her group is made up of seven women whose main business is in selling vegetables from their gardens.

The president of the group is married and 47 years old. She has 5 children in her care (3 of which are between the ages of 5 and 13 years) and all are in school. Her husband is a driver in training in transportation.

Madame Bintou has requested this loan to grow her business by buying various products (bags of charcoal, vegetables, etc.) that she will resell for a profit at the market. This will allow her to better support her family's needs (food, school fees, health...).

Her small business selling goods is very profitable in the city and especially in the mining districts.

She wants to optimize her sales and grow her business in order to earn more income.

She encounters very few problems and is able to earn a monthly income that helps her husband support the needs of their children and of their family in general: food, health, and other needs.

Madame Bintou has been active in this business for about ten years as have other members of this group.
