Arcoiris De La Cruz Group's story

The Arcoiris D. L. C. (Rainbow of the Cross) group got its name because they are a happy group, and all of them are from the C. settlement. The group is comprised of five women. María RemeD. López Sánchez represents the group. All of her children are married. She and her husband sell fish together. Doris D. D. V. has two children. She sells pigs together with Martha C. O.. Martha has a daughter. María D. Los Santos D. L. C. L. has one daughter, and Araceli D. D. López has two daughters. They both sell chicken that they raise in their respective homes. Mello (as they call Maria Remedioa) and her husband have a business selling fish. Her husband sells in an itinerant way. He leaves on his tricycle to sell in the same settlement and neighboring communities. She also sells basic needs products in her home. She sells products like sugar, rice, milk, cookies, and soft drinks, etc. She dreams of having a well stocked grocery store. They are all very hard-working and happy women. Their activities are varied. They are a supportive group, and they have known each other for years. They are grateful to the Foundation and to Kiva for the support they have provided and for considering them so that they can continue their small businesses and make their dreams a reality.
