Iriba Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 18 crates of beer.

Iriba Group's story

Fatuma is a customer of the MFI Hekima and the leader of the Iriba village group. She is married, 36 years old, and the mother of 4 children who all attend school. Her partner is a street seller.

She has been selling drinks for 5 years. She started her business using money she earned from previous business activities. She later joined Hekima to get support for her business and has been gradually developing. She will use this new loan to buy 18 crates of beer. Her main business challenge involves trying to avoid bottle breakages.

She would like to see her children complete their education and to be able to refurbish her house.

Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they are giving to owners of non-bankable businesses during the global covid-19 crisis.

Note: Because of covid-19 social distancing regulations, only the group leader is pictured.
