A loan helped to purchase tables and chairs, and to fix up her business space.

Nini Johana's story

Nini is a 40-year-old microentrepreneur, a resident of the municipality of Suan, Atlántico. For 3 yeas, she has had a restaurant at her house where she sells lunches and breakfasts.

The pandemic affected her income due to the quarantine mandated by the government. However, she has maintained her business with home deliveries. Now that the economy is opening, she wants to invest in her assets to improve her customer service and increase the sales of lunches. She owns the house she lives in with her partner and children. This business idea came up from her love of cooking and of having her own income to sustain her family.

Currently, she has joined the Atlántico Responde program with the end of asking for a Kiva loan from Fundación Santo Domingo, resources which will be invested in the purchase of tables and chairs, and to fix up her business space. Support her in her loan, it will be a success.
