Miller Enrique's story

Miller Enrique is a 25-year-old micro-entrepreneur, a resident of the municipality of Palmar de Varela. He lives with his family, and for three years he has had a business of selling fast food, footwear, and cheese. He initially began with the sale of cheese, and thanks to the income generated he was able to open the other two businesses. He carries out these commercial activities from his home, where he is now well known in the sector for being the hard worker that he is, in addition to offering quality products.

Three years ago, life changed for this micro-entrepreneur, since thanks to the business, his economic stability improved. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has occurred at a worldwide level, his work diminished because of biosecurity questions, and his income dropped drastically. For this reason, he joined the program Atlántico Responde to apply for his first Kiva loan with Fundación Santo Domingo with the goal of investing in the purchase of basic materials, breads, sausages, cheese, and a freezer.

Help him with the loan for his business!
