Sapi's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a water tank, chemicals, vegetable seeds, soil and a rake.

Sapi's story

Sapi is a 59-year-old married woman with 5 children. She runs a business of selling vegetable (cabbage and cucumber) in her community to earn a living. She has 5 years of experience with this business.

Sapi is a Samoan citizen and she works very hard to satisfy her customers with her fresh vegetables. Everyday except for Saturday and Sunday she delivers her vegetables to villages using a wheelbarrow. She believes in herself that using the wheelbarrow to deliver her goods is also making her strong, happy and healthy.

Sapi needs a loan to purchase more equipment (a water tank, chemicals, vegetable seeds, soil and a rake) to help take her business to the next level. Her dream is to one day earn enough to buy her own vehicle to help run the business and send her children to school. She became a member of SPBD in 2016.
