Maria's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy guinea pigs, grass, alfalfa, and construction materials to expand the pens.

Maria's story

Maria, age 44, is a woman of Colombian nationality. She lives in Ecuador with her partner and their two children.

Maria is a hard-working woman of good character. She works as a day laborer from Monday to Friday. On weekends, she works as an assistant in a restaurant, and she raises small animals.

She wants to set up a guinea pig farm with more capacity. For this reason, she is applying for a loan with which she will be able to better modify the pens and buy more guinea pigs to raise.

All her effort is focused on improving [her family's] quality of life in a way to be able to better meet the household expenses and save to be able to build a little house of [their] own.
