Diokere Endam Coumbacara Group's story

Madame Moumini is the president of the group Diokere Endam Coumbacara, which means "solidarity" in Fula. Madame Moumini is 56 years old and raises animals, like the other women in the group. She is married to a farmer. She is the biological mother of two girls, aged 13 and 16, in addition to three other dependent children, including one girl. They are aged between 6 and 13 and are all in school. She is not educated.

The group includes 17 women who decided to join forces to request a loan to expand their animal raising activities.

Madame Moumini has good experience in this activity, which she has been practicing for over 22 years. She would like to expand her activities to become a major farmer. She purchases and resells her animals in the local weekly markets and other weekly markets in the surrounding villages. With the profits from her business, she supports her husband with family expenses such as schooling, healthcare, food, etc., like the other group members.

With the loan, she will be able to purchase more animals and expand her pen.
