Lilian's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy hybrid seeds and nutrient-rich fertilizers to use on her farm and make more profits to support her children.

Lilian's story

Lilian is a 33-year-old mother of five school-going children living in Kapsowar, a town surrounded by prime agricultural lands which favor large-scale grain farming, dairy, and crop farming. She is a mixed farmer with many years of farming experience.

Though she dearly loves crops farming, her farm is at risk of attack by pests and diseases. To a poor rural farmer, treatment of crop diseases requires an increase in the total operational costs to the extent that, in most cases, the amount of capital invested to produce the desired yield surpasses the output harvested. The remedy is to use certified seeds that are resistant to pests and diseases.

Lilian is requesting this loan so that she can buy hybrid seeds and nutrient-rich fertilizers to use on her farm. She believes that these inputs will help her improve her farm yield and therefore increase her income level. She is confident that she will be able to repay her loan and expand her farm. This loan will surely empower this hardworking woman. Support and show love to a mother and help her prosper in her life.
