Etita's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy building materials and ingredients, cooking utensils, equipment and packing items for a food packs business.

Etita's story

Etita has witnessed the changing times and the change in people’s lifestyles since she was a child. In pursuing modernity, many are drawn to technology, social media, and keeping up with trends. She has noticed that mothers no longer make home-cooked meals for their family’s breakfast or school lunch. Bread has become a morning staple for many. Since TC Yasa hit her island home, Etita has seen many releif workers arriving to help the survivors.

This has given her an idea to start a business which she will operate from home, selling food packs of chicken sausage or fish in batter with cassava and salad. She also needs to buy building materials to repair her home.

By getting her plans off the ground, school children and working people will buy a food pack that is balanced and affordable when their lives are back on track. However, for now, she will market to the relief workers.
