Raua's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy building materials for her home and the initial stocks for the canteen and a deep freezer for frozen goods and ice cream.

Raua's story

Raua and her family are blessed that their home was not completely damaged when Tropical Cyclone Yasa hit in December 2020.

With the twin effects of the recession and the natural disaster, the Fijian economy and the Fijian people have been trying to recover from unforeseen circumstances that were beyond their control. However, the twin catastrophes have led to the exponential growth of business start-ups in the developing nation.

She is confident in her business plans and hopes that her lenders will have the same trust in her.

Raua wishes to join the trend and is starting a canteen business selling groceries and fuels. As a victim of TC Yasa, she also hopes to purchase building materials to repair her home. She also plans to buy a deep freezer to sell frozen foods and ice cream.
