Finau's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase kava stems to replant and also bales of dried kava.

Finau's story

Finau used to sell some of the most potent and cheap kava until her kava farm got completely destroyed by the two recent tropical cyclones, namely TC Ana and TC Yasa, earlier this cyclone season.

Selling Kava was the family's only source of income as it raked in a good income that could cater to all their family expenses due of its high demand, so the destruction of the farm greatly affects them.

The mother of five is in need of a loan and kindly seeks your help. She requires money to clear and purchase kava stems and replant her kava plantation, and while growing them, she will purchase bales of dried kava from other farmers. The kava she purchased from other farmers will be pounded, packed, and sold so that it can generate an income for the family.

Kava is a drink, made from the dried and pounded Piper methysticum plant, that is placed in a straining bag and steeped in water, which is then consumed.
