A loan helped to purchase calves.

Elmer Antonio's story

Elmer is a 47-year-old man who works in the field of agriculture and cattle-raising, with over 19 years of experience working at the hand of his sibling to get better results from his business.

With his first loan, he managed to purchase calves to raise them, in addition to beans and corn to plant his own basic grains each season.

With the joy of continuing to grow in his business, he asked for a loan from MiCrédito, with the support of Kiva, to be able to purchase other calves. In the not-too-distant future, he wants to purchase dairy cows, to make diary products such as curd, yogurt, cream, and quesillo, and to increase his earnings.
