Mayra's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy chickens, corn, and animal feed.

Mayra's story

Mayra is 32 years old and lives with her mother and sister in a borrowed house. Mayra is a single mother, and she has a small two-year-old daughter. She has completed secondary school, and in the future, she aspires to go to university to pursue a professional field, so that she can offer a better quality of life for her daughter.

Mayra has been dedicated to raising chickens as a business for two years. She decided to start her own business because she could not find work with a young daughter and so that she could take care of her daughter herself.

She wants a loan to buy chickens, corn, and animal feed so that she can raise more chickens. This will enable her to earn a better income so that she can provide necessities to her young daughter, for whom Mayra is both father and mother.

Mayra consented to taking the photograph with her daughter.
