Maombi Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 30 pagnes (traditional wraparounds) to bolster her initial capital.

Maombi Group's story

Madame Anne Marie is a client of IMF Hekima. She oversees the "Mamobi" village group. She is married, 50 years old, and has seven children who all go to school. Her partner is unemployed.

Anne Marie sells pagnes (traditional wraparounds). She started this business 20 years ago with startup capital from her husband. Later on, she joined Hekima to support her business, which has grown progressively over time.

With this new loan, she will buy 30 pagnes to bolster her initial capital. The challenge with her activity is insufficient profits.

Anne Marie wants her children to continue studying and she wants to continue growing her business. In closing, she wants to thank Hekima and their partners for the support they give to non-bankable business owners in the context of the COVID-19 global crisis. The photo is only of the group leader due to COVID-19 and respect for social distancing measures.
