Ihirwe Tcb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more maize, beans, and sorghum.

Ihirwe Tcb Group's story

Xavela is a 33-year-old mother of two children who are aged 7 and 13 years old. Her husband is a businessman, and for the past five years, she has been selling foodstuffs.

She is the leader of the group called Ihirwe Tcb, which in English means “Good Luck.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Xavela will use her loan to buy more maize, beans, and sorghum to sell in her community and to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to provide for her family and also increase her savings.

Xavela is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members. The photograph is of Xavela, the group representative
