Rebeccah Wangari's story
Rebbeccah Wangari N. is 45 years old. She is married to Joseph Ologolimot and is a mother of three children. Rebbeccah is a farmer who operates a poultry business, which she has been doing for the last three years. She learned about KADET from other women in a group already registered with KADET in her community. This will be her second loan which she is planning to use to increase the number of broilers and to lease a bigger room where she can keep more chicks. Poultry keeping has been a good business since most of the hotels get their orders from her. She hopes to use the profit from the proceeds of this loan to expand her poultry farming activity from small scale to large scale. Rebbeccah's dream is do large scale poultry keeping and be the main supplier of chickens for the entire town of Narok. She is a hard working woman who is determined to achieve her set goals.
