A loan helped to buy school supplies.

Lilibeth Del Carmen's story

,Lilibeth is a young university student who started a business four years ago selling shoes and second-hand clothing for gentlemen, ladies and children. She receives support from her husband to be able to improve the finances.

She had already recurred to a Kiva loan through MiCrédito to add a new line of staple products such as basic grains, rice, sugar, oil and more, and given the good results obtained through increased sales she decided to apply for a loan again so that she can diversify her business. This time, she wants to add school supplies as this is a great opportunity during this back-to-school season. The items include notebooks, which are essential for the students, pens, erasers, highlighters, scrapbook paper and more.

Lilibeth's goal for the future is to improve her shop so that she can offer improved convenience to her clients.
