Pilier Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy flour, beans, and corn which will increase her up-front capital.

Pilier Group's story

Mme Rachel is a client of Hekima IMF and the advisor for the business group, PILIER. She is 49 years old and is the married mother of 6 children, all in school. Her partner is a government official. She sells food and started this business 10 years ago with start-up money she received from her husband.

Later she became involved with the Hekima program in order to support her business and, during the course of which, she has gradually evolved. With this new loan, she would like to stock up on flour, beans, and corn which will increase her up-front capital. The challenge to her business has to do with the drop in prices at the market.

She would like for her children to continue their studies and to be able to provide food for her family. Also, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the non-monetary support given to business owners during the context of the global crisis caused by COVID-19. The photo only shows the leader of the group out of respect for social distancing.
