Marat's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy livestock to increase his income from breeding livestock.

Marat's story

Marat is 40 years old and lives with his wife and four children in the Chatkal region. Marat works as an inspector at a local television satellite station. The mountainous region with its spacious pastures is ideal for raising cattle. He has been involved in agriculture for 18 years, breeding cows, horses, and sheep.

His wages are not enough to support his large family, so Marat is trying hard to develop his farm. He is seeking 20,000 KGS in support from Kiva to increase the size of his livestock herd. The income will help to improve his family’s material well-being.
