Lydia's story

Lydia is a 32-year-old mother of four children living in Eldoret, a town that was significantly struck by the 2007–2008 Kenyan crisis when violence occurred in Kenya. She is a mixed farmer with 15 years of farming experience. Through farming, Lydia has been able to change her family’s reputation.

Lydia is seeking this loan to buy farming inputs with which she plans to increase her production and make more income to support her family.

Microloans that are provided by Juhudi Kilimo have played a very big role in women empowerment at this time when the world is focused on reducing the spread of coronavirus.
