A loan helped to buy piglets and pig feed to support her farming business.
Sarom's story
Sarom is 42 years old, married, and is the mother of five children. She is a farmer who raises and sells pigs. Her husband is a driver. She has been running this business for 15 years.
Sarom has applied for a 3,000,000 KHR loan through Kiva's field partner Chamroeun to buy piglets and pig feed to support her farming business. Using the loan, she will be able to earn more income to continue her business, as well as support her family's living standards. She hopes that she can grow her business, renovate her home and send her children to school.
Her main challenges are more competitors and dealing with pig diseases.
