Sabugnuman Group's story

Alima is a Malian housewife. She is 45 years old and has 5 children. She has been raising animals for the past 6 years with the help of her husband and her children. In order to develop her business and have it as her main source of income, she has taken loans with RMCR.

On the picture, she is standing next to one of her sheep. She buys her supplies in her village and surrounding villages which have livestock markets. After taking good care of her sheep, following the advice of a veterinarian, she sells them whenever her loan matures. She can generate a profit of 50,000 CFA francs. The profit she earns from the sale of her sheep enables her to meet her children's expenses for health, food, school and clothing.

Alima has had no difficulty with the RMCR loans. She confirms her strong desire to respect all the Covid-19 measures. Alima acknowledges RMCR's contribution to the growth and well-being of her children.

Alima hopes to get additional funding in the future in order to turn her business into a source of employment for her family. She thanks RMCR for providing funding to women from vulnerable levels of society.
