Matina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to launch a business selling clothes, sandals and bags.

Matina's story

Matina is a 26-year-old entrepreneur. She lives with her parents and three siblings in the Garu Tempane district of Ghana.

Martina is requesting a Kiva loan to launch a venture selling clothes, sandals and bags. She plans to reinvest the profit she earns in her business to help it grow.

In order to repay the "social interest" on her loan, Martina will volunteer two and half hours as a CAMFED Peer Educator. She will focus on mentoring and leading life skills sessions for students in the nearby schools, and other community members.
