01_Thor Diender Group's story

This group of three women comes from the banc villageois that was established in 2011. The women live in the same village and share strong ties of solidarity, family, and friendship. They have repaid several loans on time.

Coumba is the representative of the group. She is 58 years old and is standing on the right in the photo with her hand raised. She is married and a mother of seven children--four sons and three daughters. She is an agent of development and has good relationships with her neighbors.

Coumba runs a business buying and selling cereals. She has a store and five years experience with this work.

With this loan, she is going to buy sacks of millet, corn, and animal feed. She knows the market well.

Profits will allow her to strengthen her business, pay her children's school fees, help her husband with the family expenses, and also save in the banc villageois.
