Surnah's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a smartphone for her child’s education needs.

Surnah's story

Good day, lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Surnah. She is 42 years old and married with four sons and two daughters. Surnah and her husband run a food stall as their business. One of their children is in school.

One impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their family has been the implementation of school from home, which uses an online system. This has made it difficult for their child to access the course materials and send assignments to the teacher.

Surnah has applied for a loan of 2,100,000 Indonesian rupiahs (IDR) from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her child’s education needs. Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her business.

Surnah is a very hardworking mother who always strives for the best for her children, to improve their living conditions and create a happy life. She is very grateful for the opportunity and wants to thank all lenders.

Note: The girl in the photo is Surnah's daughter.
