Mujeres Surgentes Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy apples, pears, pineapples, tomatoes, onions, and other fruits and vegetables.

Mujeres Surgentes Group's story

The group called Mujeres Surgentes, from the city of Itá, is in its fifth loan cycle. They help each other get ahead and be able to continue with their work during the pandemic. They're also in the poverty-elimination program.

One of the members is Aurora, who works selling fruits and vegetables. She's a hardworking person who fights for a better quality of life for her loved ones, so they don't have to suffer any hardship.

She's grateful for this opportunity to be able to continue with her work and, with this, for her family to have what they need.

She's requesting this loan to be able to buy apples, pears, pineapples, tomatoes, onions, and other fruits and vegetables to sell.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. A group photo wasn't possible because of social distancing during Covid-19.
