Luis Joaquin's story

Seeking financial independence, Luis started his store in a central area of his community. He is from the north of the country and is very eager to get ahead in his business. He has more than 20 years of service to his customers. They consider him to be a kind, sincere and honorable person. He offers rice, cooking oil, cereals, detergent, soap, corn meal, shampoo, tuna and milk.

To keep growing in his business, he asked for a loan from Micrédito with the support of Kiva. This is to buy eggs, cream, milk, brooms, mops, detergent, snacks, deodorants, and canned goods in order to offer everyday items used by the nearby families. In the near future, he wants to expand his business and generate new employment to provide better service to his customers.
