Lisi's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy stocks of groceries, fuels, and e-services with Vodafone Fiji, and also to buy fresh bread that will be resold in the canteen.

Lisi's story

Lisi does not believe in retirement. Her family usually jokes about her famous line, “I will only retire when I kick the bucket”. She has always been actively involved in her church, the village school, and with her family. With 5 children and 19 grandchildren, Lisi lives a full and content life.

Lisi recognized a golden opportunity when the local shop closed down. The shop was also a bakery and served the nearby villagers, including a prominent high school that housed boarding students.

She hopes to open a canteen that can supply groceries, fuels (kerosene, benzene), e-services (e-ticketing for public transport and M-paisa e-wallet with Vodafone Fiji), and she also plans to be a supplier of fresh bread.

A loan would make this possible to serve the villages near and far with their needs and daily essentials.
