A loan helped to buy grocery items.

Angie Melina's story

Angie is 23 years old. She is in a common law marriage. She has 2 children, aged 8 years and 9 months old. Her husband is a merchant. They live in Manta, one of the most important cities for business and tourism on the Ecuadorian coast.

Angie is a woman who strives every day to obtain her income in an honorable way. That is why she and her husband have had a food cart for five years in a very busy area. There they sell encebollados and ceviches. Their business idea was born out of the necessity of generating income to help pay for the household expenses. That is why she is now asking for a new loan so that she can reactivate her business.

She will invest this loan in buying grocery items to make the food. Her dream is to have her own locale and for her business to keep growing.
