Ana Cecilia's story

Ana is originally from the northern part of the country. She graduated with a degree in Business Administration. Ana is considered to be a helpful, friendly, and responsible young woman. Three years ago, she decided to start a small business through social networks in which she would offer tasty desserts at a good price such as churros, pastries, and donuts. Her mother helped her come up with this business idea so that she could generate more income and put out the best product.

In order to obtain supplies and raw ingredients, Ana chose to request a new Kiva loan from MiCrédito to buy flour, butter, sugar, oil, and cheese. In the near future, she wants to have several sales locations in the surrounding areas of her community. She always offers her specialties, which are churros and pastries, that all of her customers request each day because they are delicious, crispy, and affordable.
