Oktomkan is 56 years old, married, and has 4 children. She has a secondary-level education and is hard-working, driven, and enterprising by nature. She is well-versed in the technical aspects of running an agricultural business and knows how to invest in her business. She is the main provider for her family and has raised livestock since 1990. Thanks to her hard work and responsible approach to business she has grown her farm to 2 cows, 20 sheep and 1 horse. In order to further develop her farm she has applied for a loan of 100,000 som with Bai-Tushum Bank to purchase dairy cows, with the goal of increasing income from the sale of organic milk from breeding cattle. She plans to use income from the loan to invest in the further development of her farm.
