Romy's story

Romy D. is from the town of Sta. Josefa. He is 33 years old, married and has 3 school-aged children. To make a living, Romy raises rice for sale. Romy has been engaged in his business for over 15 years. Romy joined CEVI to gain access to financial services to help improve his living situation and ability to engage in business activities. He has successfully repaid a previous loan from CEVI. Romy is requesting a new loan of 15000 PHP which will be used to purchase fertilizers and seeds and to pay for the laborers who help at the farm. This loan will be the eighth loan taken out by Romy from CEVI. He plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve the general living conditions of his family. About CEVI: Community Economic Ventures, Inc (CEVI) has increased its portfolio significantly over the recent years. Based in Bohol, they have numerous branches throughout the Philippines.
