A loan helped To add more products in his grocery store business.
Cyprien is a young Rwandese refugee entrepreneur living in one of Kenya’s refugee camps. He arrived in the country in 2016 and soon after, established his grocery store business to provide himself with a source of income. The store continues to experience steady growth overtime. It exhibits signs of further growth as it is strategically located, and the products are relatively cheaper in comparison to the rest of the businesses around the camp. Cyprien benefited from an initial loan which he used to expand the business’ operations. The growth has seen the business accommodates one employee who helps in the daily operations. Cyprien is seeking subsequent financing with AEC to allow him add grocery stock in bulk for the business. This will ensure he keeps providing the community around with more consumption options as well as keep expanding his business operations.
