A loan helped to buy more stocks of millet, sorghum, sugar and wheat flour for chapatis.

Pamela's story

Pamela is 46 years old. She is married and blessed with four children. Two children are below the age of 18 years.

She is in the business of making porridge and chapati within Kakamega town. She has been in the business for 12 years, and now she earns an average income of 20,000 KES per month. However, she has applied for the sixth loan from Vision Fund Kenya to enable her to buy more stocks of millet, sorghum, sugar and wheat flour for chapatis.

With the anticipated profits she plans to repay her loan on time and also improve her living standards. In future, she hopes to educate her children and also get a permanent place for her business.
