Susana's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to add more fruits and vegetables to her stall.

Susana's story

Selling at the market has been a family affair for Susana, her 2 teenage sons and husband. Every day the boys join their mother after school and her husband is always there on the weekends to assist Susana with her business.

Susana is grateful that she has lent a helping hand to her husband in their financial obligations. She has also ensured that her family’s diet is balanced and healthy.

However, with the twin effects of the Fiji economic recession (20% negative growth) and the natural disasters in 2020, and the natural disasters brought about by the Super Tropical Cyclone Yasa, women entrepreneurs have been impacted.

Susana’s sons will soon begin their tertiary education, and she understands that their educational expenses will be expensive.

She needs a loan that will allow her to expand her business by having a wider variety of fruits and vegetables to choose from. This will allow her to attract more customers.

Susana is hopeful to find lenders who will help her and her family out.
