Abisunganye Tcb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more thread and a sewing machine.

Abisunganye Tcb Group's story

Alphonsine is a 43-year-old mother of six children who are aged between 4 and 17 years old. Her husband is a civil servant and for the past twenty years, she has owned a grocery store.

Alphonsine is the leader of the group called Abisunganye Tcb, which in English means “people who come together." Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Alphonsine will use her loan to buy more thread and a sewing machine to sell in her community and meet customer demand.

With the profits from her sales, Alphonsine hopes to pay school fees for her children. She is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members but was able to photograph Alphonsine, the group representative.
