A loan helped to buy chickens and chicken feed to support her farming business.

Kolab's story

Kolab is 30 years old, married, and is the mother of two children. She raises and sells chickens. Her husband is a blacksmith. She has been running this business for five years.

Kolab has applied for a 2,000,000 KHR loan through Kiva's field partner Chamroeun to buy chickens and chicken feed to support her farming business. Using the loan, she will be able to earn more income to continue her business, as well as support her family's living standards.

She hopes that she can grow her business, renovate her home, and send her children to school.

Her main challenges are more competitors and insufficient capital.
