Srey Loeng's story

Srey Loeng is 37 years old, married, and the mother of three children. She sells Chinese noodles and other beverages. Her husband is a construction worker. She has been running this business for four years.

Srey Loeng has applied for a 2,800,000 KHR loan through Kiva's field partner, Chamroeun, to buy Chinese noodles, meat, vegetables, and other groceries for making food. Using the loan, she will be able to earn more income to continue her business, as well as support her family's living standards.

Srey Loeng hopes that she can grow her business, renovate her home, and send her children to school.

Her main challenges are numerous competitors and insufficient capital.
