A loan helped to buy a smartphone for her child’s education needs.

Sutaya's story

Good day, lenders! Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Sutaya. She is 51 years old and a widow with one son and one daughter. Sutaya runs a food stall business. One of her children is still in school.

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on her family has been the implementation of school from home, which uses an online system. This has made it difficult for her child to access the course materials and send assignments to the teacher.

She has applied for a loan of 2,100,000 Indonesian rupiahs (IDR) from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her child’s education needs. Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her business.

Sutaya is a very hard-working mother who always strives to provide the best for her child and improve their living conditions and create a happy life. She is very grateful for the opportunity and wants to thank all lenders.

Note: The boy in the photo is Sutaya's son.
